Environmental Studies
Environmental Studies is an interdisciplinary major that explores the complex relationships between humans and the natural world. It combines science, policy, ethics, and social studies to address pressing environmental challenges such as climate change, biodiversity loss, pollution, and sustainable resource management. Students gain a broad understanding of ecological systems and learn how to analyze environmental issues from multiple perspectives鈥攕cientific, economic, cultural, and political.
Trending Programs

Behavioral neuroscience explores the role of the nervous system in normal and abnormal聽behavior, thought, and emotion. This major emphasizes an understanding of nervous system structure and function from the molecular/cellular level to the systems level.

Canada and the United States share a continent and are linked by deep economic ties, common historical experiences, and many cultural similarities; they are also marked by real and important differences, which the program helps students better understand.

Western's Chinese Language and Culture program provides students with the opportunity to become competent communicators in Chinese language and culture, shared by 1.3 billion people, approximately one-fourth of the world鈥檚 population.

Anyone at any age can be affected by illness or injury that will impair the ability to talk or hear. Each one can be helped in some way by a speech-language pathologist, audiologist, or speech, language, and hearing scientist.
